Experience

I have been an accountant since 1986 and started my own practice in 1994. This gave me a unique insight into many different businesses, and I often found that the ones succeeding were pretty much following the same formula.

As my business grew, I took on the right team which freed up my time. With that time, I went into various other businesses, applied the skills that I had learnt, grew them, made them highly profitable and then sold them off. I then focused my time back into the accountancy practice where I bought out three other firms of accountants and then merged with another. After this, we purchased one other firm and I then decided that I should retire at 51 years of age.  

However, I found that at 52, I missed being in business and started to help a few clients in several areas:-

 

  • Business growth
  • Succession planning
  • Selling and buying of businesses

 

I will only ever work for 6 clients at any one time as it gives me the perfect work/life balance that all business owners are seeking. I am also selective who I will work for, there must be a good relationship between us to get the best results.

I have a limitation on the number of clientele I work with at a time to ensure my support remains the quality I promise.
